Our Story

The Dice Lacrosse Training Aid was created by Tom Merritt. Growing up as both and Hockey and Lacrosse player, Tom would spend hours making his own hockey training devices in the backyard, and wondered why there were not as many lacrosse training aid devices as there were with hockey.

While playing College Lacrosse at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, Tom looked for any way to gain an advantage over opponents. While hitting the wall one day over the summer in Bethesda, Maryland, Tom got an idea, and began to create prototypes of what would eventually become the Dice Lacrosse Training Aid in his mom's basement.

After a long road of testing, consulting with teammates, and dealing with overseas factories, the Dice Lacrosse Training Aid finally became available for lacrosse players worldwide.

Known for his sure handedness and ability to snatch up ground balls, Tom was a 2 time Captain for the Shoremen, named All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention twice, posted 71 ground balls in his senior campaign, and was selected for the USILA North/South All Star Game
